Interested in hearing from anyone who descends from any of the families on the DAWE page of my website http://familytree.lornahen.com/spDAWE.htm Direct male line descendants in particular who would like to contribute their Y-DNA towards our understanding of the inter-relatedness of the families, mostly from South West Devon. Any descendant, of either sex, of any of the families may also contribute to our understanding by testing autosomal DNA. We have a growing collection of matching segments down from Isaac DAWE and Sarah SMITH to compare against.

I'm a Dawe descendant going back to Plymouth Sutton in the early 19th century. South Street and Old Town Street. My Dawes moved to Northampton. If its of any interest, please get in touch. My mother born 1929 was Pamela Audrey Dorothy Dawe, her father was Montague Edward Dawe.
