When you click on "YesterYear Top 10s" you'll see lists of the top 10 hits according to Billboard and Cash Box magazines from 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years ago.
If you click on any title, you will hear the first few seconds of that record!
There is no player displayed. There may be a delay of two seconds or maybe not. The record will automatically start playing from the beginning for the maximum length that I allow.
Though it is not in place right now, there will be a message at the top telling you what you are playing.
This should work in all recent versions of Chrome, FireFox, Internet Explorer and Safari (if run on a computer).
Apple has restrictions for their tablets (and possibly other companies do as well) in which they they require any audio that plays to be MANUALLY INITIATED BY THE USER. The problm is that if I were to display a player on the screen which would allow tablet users to play the samples, they then would be able to finagle it to play the ENTIRE track!
If you have a computer and would like to try it out, then please BE MY GUEST!
