It's Cruise's death defying stunts--especially since he actually is apparently doing most of them, like the Burj Khalifa thing and the underwater thing and the hanging-from-the-plane thing--that gets the most attention, and M:I Fallout has MORE than enough of that stuff. Of the stuff he does, I know for sure he actually skydove, and for sure he actually jumped across gaps in buildings and broke his ankle. And, uh, actually learned how to fly a helicopter? I guess he could do that. I have to give him props for this--he apparently fired the insurance company from Ghost Protocol because they didn't want to do the Dubai thing and so he just got some company that would.
At this point, Ghost Protocol is the most highly regarded, unless Fallout has already surpassed it. Ghost Protocol's crazy stunts got so much attention that that's the direction they've gone since then, I guess the third film is fairly well regarded in retrospect as well.
Leave No Trace is the new movie from the Winter's Bone director, she hasn't done a movie between then and now. What's with these female directors who direct something acclaimed and then disappear forever, Wonder Woman was Patty Jenkins' first movie in 15 freakin' years. Also I keep an eye on Ben Foster for some reason.
"THE BEST SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME??"--I'm not much into the f***ing Eagles, bleurghski.
I wasn't very impressed with Thriller, no. Only "P.Y.T." stands out among the filler/lesser tracks to me, the four hits are clearly the four best songs. "Carousel" too, because it sounds like "Babylon Sisters" and I've always loved "Babylon Sisters," here come those Santa Ana winds again! But I only listened as a lark, and I'd heard every song on it at least once before. I'd just never sat down and listened all the way through at once.
