The main thing I remember from the first one was Emilio Estevez's absolutely cringe inducing disgusting death scene, getting a spike through the face at the top of an elevator. Imagine being the poor bastard who has to dispose of that body.
It's also hilarious how it has had no tie to the TV series since then, seeing the "based on characters created by..." credit that pops up in the end credits for these films is a huge laugh now.
Oh! The second movie. NOBODY seems to have a kind word to say about it, it's like the Phantom Menace of M:I movies. Hey, aren't MOST Cruise movies megalomaniac vanity projects for him? Okay, maybe not, and I see what you're saying with all the motorcycle heavy metal shit he did in that movie, but I've never rewatched it and would have to stop and
The third film is where Michelle Meaningless Monaghan and Simon Pegg show up. But hey, meaninglessness is what we want out of these movies, eh? Imagine if they tried to do a SPECTRE and make you care about the bad guy turning out to be Cruise's long lost brother, as Alpha Hammer said BOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG.
