-Rhea Seehorn is really good at playing Kim Wexler and all of the central characters avoid one-dimensionality. This is a huge plus. So is Kim being a big improvement over Skyler White and Marie Schrader (not that I really hated either of them, but I hope there isn't any big sexism debate brewing over the response to Kim Wexler.)
-I had no idea Nacho was mentioned on BrBa, but he was. I probably won't be rewatching the scene or anything but that's pretty deep of them for the reference to go that far back. I also like that Nacho is neither crazy nor obviously evil, a quietly intimidating character.
-The Mike scene in the last episode (where he can't kill Nacho) was great but I'd already seen it on Youtube. It does have a slight lack of suspense since we know all these people will live, but the car-horn device was legitimately creepy. Most of the Mike scenes are good even if one is well aware of who all is going to live.
-Chuck is mostly hated in every AV Club comments section but the debate is a lot more nuanced than all the Skyler White hate BrBa amassed. The Jimmy-Chuck dynamite is pretty top notch since you can't entirely root for either character. Their final scene together in the last episode was very strong and not just because of the twist, it would have been good without the twist too.
-Of all the humor we got, I'm going to say Jimmy's colorful-suit-and-tie montage was the funniest. The bit with the WWII bomber guy who was fake, and the blonde makeup girl blowing Jimmy's cover by mentioning that the "Pina Colada Song" guy was English were pretty damn funny too.
-In spite of all this good stuff I have to say, I think I'm just making positive talking points. I didn't really find this season all that much stronger than the first. No real reason why, but I'm trying to avoid sitting there waiting for BrBa reference-porn to show up either--that's a dumb way to watch this show. Will try to watch season 3 as soon as possible.
