Glad you like- "With Teeth". Lots of NIN seem to be down on that one for some reason. Definitely prefer it's focus and punchiness to the sprawl of "The Fragile" (though that one definitely has its moments). "The Slip" is arguably even better than "With Teeth" though (and is my 2nd favorite NIN after "The Downward Spiral"). How does the new NIN compare to the last one?
"What's Going On" is a hugely important and groundbreaking album but never been one of my favorites of Marvin's (I prefer "I Want You" and "Here My Dear"). But yeah, unlike Stevie, his songs are more about atmosphere than melody. If it's melody you're after, you gotta grab those early singles (the 2-disc "Gold" collection is probably all the Marvin a fairweather fan like you would need).
