If one is to assume that he's a Resident

and I think it's pretty safe to assume that at this point, he's one of the founders and main creative forces. My understanding is that most of the actual music is conceived by him, whereas Homer Flynn sings and writes lyrics (and has also been featured as both "Mr. Skull" and more recently "Randy", whereas Fox has gone by "Chuck Bobuck" in recent years). And I guess the 2 other founding members Jay Clem and John Kennedy, left the group in the mid-80's shortly after the disastrous "Mole Show" and Fox and Flynn have been making due with other anonymous collaborators cast as Residents since them (unclear on how many there've been or how long their tenures have been).
Anyway, that'll be sad if Fox (or whatever his real name is) dies. Don't listen to The Residents very often these days (partly because it's been awhile since they've released anything I've been interested in- holy shit "The Bunny Boy" was 10 years ago) but they've always been one of my favorite groups. This news might cause me to dust off some of their classic stuff.
