I'm no prude but jeepers that's a lot of (unnecessary lot of IMO) f-bombs on the opening track. Recognized the second as the single you put out recently and it really is a pretty good song, although in a few moments the falsetto seems strained.
Really liked "Sean" and "Truth" (the latter is IMO the best on the album. The former is the f-bomb done right, and quite so.) Wish I could recall the last two tracks because they seemed like a blur -- but I was probably just tiring out, and I can't give any particular reason for liking the ones I do. I guess that's to be expected.
Basically it's a good record. Main concern is with the singer. The rock/pop scene completely passed me by in the mid-to-late-2000s, including the indie boom, so I have really no basis for comparison, but it's enjoyable as it is. Good work.
