John Landis is an interesting director to me
He's way into movies, knows his film history backwards and forwards. Critics never liked him, but he made monster hits. Nowadays, he's a well-off elder statesman, always up for an interview, but can't seem to get a new film made. A few years ago, he was talking about a new horror movie he was developing.
Haven't seen ANIMAL HOUSE in at least fifteen years, but I should see it again.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is my favorite.
