Man, the writers really shat the bed with "Time's Arrow", didn't they? The first part looked like it was going to be good but that damned Mark Twain character is insufferable and the scene with Troi in the turbolift is one of the worst preachy Trek moment since the Yar/Wesley chat in "Symbiosis". Given a good setup and nope.
Also I don't really care about continuity errors but this is in the space of a few episodes: the big moral quandry in "I, Borg" was whether to send Hugh back hacked so that they all destroy themselves; here they wanted to waste no time blowing up an entire race's cave for killing a few 19th centuryers. And cholera makes you shit and puke yourself to death; it's not just some generic fever. Shitty, shitty, shitty episode.
