I've never considered any of the "Mole" stuff among their better work
but agree that "Intermission" is the best Mole-related release and is one of their most consistent releases, period. I also prefer "Tunes" to "Mark". And I think most fans agree that "The Big Bubble" is possibly their worst album but I still give the edge to "Have A Bad Day" because there's nothing on it I like whereas "Bubble" has at least a couple decent songs (you knew it was coming: https://rateyourmusic.com/list/hellaguru/residential-suite/
"To be fair, Fox wasn't dead yet at the time of my post. If he's actually really dead now that merits another thread."
Yeah, I know. Was just giving Matt a hard time, assuming that's really him. Was definitely surreal reading that Chronicle article- not often you see an preemptive obituary like that. And if today is his actual day of departure, part of me can't help thinking how much more appropriate it would have been if he would have passed tomorrow instead. RIP Hardy (for reals this time...?)
