I acknowledge that a lot of my opinions on hip hop don't jive with that of most fans, partly because I'm so used to Project Blowed stuff which has a very different set of values from most other hip hop, especially mainstream stuff. Also, I admittedly waited way to long to listen to "Enter The Wu Tang" in full (though I was obviously already familiar w/ popular cuts like "CREAM" and "Shame On A Nigga" from back in the day)- was just a couple years ago. And though this may seem like blasphemy, most of the beats, though obviously groundbreaking, don't really stand up to most of what producers started doing shortly afterwards. And the MCs' styles aren't really different enough (except for ODB, obviously, who sticks out like a sore thumb) to justify how many of them there are, at least not to me.
