Just bought tickets to see Richard Thompson actually
At The Fillmore at the beginning of February. Tickets were $36. Mainly going because my pops is a fan and wants to go but as I've said, I did catch Thompson at Hardly Strictly a few years back and was pretty impressed with his soloing. Anyway, I like his Fairport stuff but have never really dug into the solo stuff.
Thanks for the recs. Have only heard "Wee Tam/The Big Huge" and though I like it, I'm not really a big enough ISB fan to keep returning to it. "Hangman's Beautiful Daughter" and "5000 Spirits" are basically all the ISB I need.
