but more than the line itself, it's the whole scene/scenario that cracks me up (Larry's bemused response of "He's not my best friend" is also perfect). Actually, as far as individual lines go, the one that kills me is "Where'd you get the flowers?", mainly because of Einstein's delivery. He nails it perfectly- you can tell the character already knows the answer and is ready to blow but he still manages to pose the question with a innocently inquisitive tone.
Again, I only know him from "Curb" but based on his performance, I'd say Einstein was just an inherently funny guy, one of the most consistently funny characters on the show (which is saying a lot). And he was naturally funny in a really unique way- there was nothing cliche about his mannerisms, his timing or his delivery. He was the real deal.
I also always forget that he was Albert Brooks's brother due to the name change and the fact that they look nothing alike.
