*listens to clip* Wuggghh, an entire clip about "My World." Wuggghhhh.
Oh okay, you're talking about NIN opening for GNR? I didn't know about that at all. And Reznor thinks they're the worst NIN gigs ever? LOLOLOLOLOL. Yeah, Reznor probably did look like "some homo dude playing noisy synths." But hey, Axl liked Nirvana too, until they shunned him.
LOL, "Duff liked to blast it for Ice-T and the Body Count guys" - Oh yeah, I bet they LOVED it!!!
I didn't know Dave Navarro was supposed to be Izzy Stradlin's replacement, but I don't know that the public is aware that wasn't Izzy the "best songwriter" in the band? Would Navarro have been a great songwriter for GNR, I really don't know, but I know he didn't do much for RHCP!!!
Using that song as the title of an Axl bio-pic wouldn't be a bad idea, since the GNR story is by and large about him alienating the rest of the band! Although most biopics these days seem to disappear from the world's memory after about two weeks (That Jimi Hendrix one starring Andre 3000 was in the works for decades and I don't think anyone here even saw it!) I would certainly love to see a crappy Axl biopic just for the part involving Kurt Cobain who will hopefully be played by some up and coming young actor who wasn't even alive before Kurt died and will be some good looking kid that they had to scuff up with a tattered sweater and a strawberry-colored wig. Bonus points if they have the actor in question recreate Nirvana's Charles Barkley SNL promo. "Look ma, your favorite! Nirvana!"
That cover of "My World" is slightly an improvement over the GNR version, but that's like if you improved Batman & Robin by taking out the Bat-nipples.
