mainly that he was specifically a fan of the "Adore" album. He may have been humoring Billy but he sounded sincere. His blurb was something to the extent of "Billy's depressed because 'Adore' is selling poorly compared to the previous albums. I told him, 'Who cares about sales? It's a great album and you did exactly what you wanted to do'". And I'm almost positive this was before the Rock's Stefani bit (where he says that it'd be perfectly acceptable for a motorist to call him a f*aggot if he held up traffic while loudly singing along to "Hollaback Girl").

Yeah, don't waste your time trying to sell me on Zwan. I grew up on The Pumpkins but aren't a big enough Billy fan to check out his side projects. And I would only listen to one of the new albums under the Pumpkins name if it got a great review in Mojo or close to universal acclaim in all other publications.

You're talking about parts 1 *and* 2? Some folks seem to think part 2 is superior (that's where the cut I mentioned originates) but it definitely seems like it really should have been a single 45-60 minute album rather than a 70 minute part 1 and a 90 minute (!) part 2. And even *then* it probably would have still paled in comparison to the earlier albums
