I re-watched Wild Strawberries too to make sure I wasn't fooling myself into thinking I liked it because I was supposed to, but I still dug it. There's a whole bunch going on thematically in there, the dream sequences rule, the flashback scene is really well done, the acting is top-notch, etc. I'm not sure it's about his dramatic redemption at the end as it is just about the many ways that one could mis-live when too singularly devoted to one pursuit. How much did he really know? After all, he failed the dream-test. How much do any of us really know, really? Do YOU know what I mean? Not a masterpiece, but very good.
I don't feel like ever watching The Green Mile again, and nobody here is trying to say it's actually better than I thought it was, so that one is off The List.
Spider-Man 2 will barely make it, though.
