Keep going back and forth re: watching "The Favourite". Have heard very mixed things from folks I know who have seen it and though I appreciated "The Lobster"'s originality, it wasn't a pleasurable viewing experiences and the more I hear about Lanthimos, the more I feel like he just may be one of those filmmakers for me (LVT, present-day David Lynch etc).
Padding Bear was barely (sorry) on my radar when I was a kid. Was he really that big of a deal? Just seems like a weird time to bring the character back in CGI form. But these movies are really that good?
"Bad Times at the El Royale" is one that I wasn't really aware of. Trailer looks like it has potential but could also be a bit self conscious
"Widows" was another one I was planning on seeing. How bout "Blindspotting"? Anyone see that one?
