"Like a Velvet Glove..." is a trippy nightmare though what he's trying to say with it I've got no idea. It's like a David Lynch thing where all these motifs hint at a greater significance and they sort of build to something but you still don't know what the hell it was all about.
The ending to "Ghost World" (the comic) still leaves me a little sad thinking about it, so that's a lasting impression, at least. It might be a masterpiece just because it's a compelling story where nothing big happens.
