"my biggest recommendation would be to read while walking"
Forgetting the dangers of running into someone or something, stepping in dogshit or getting hit by a car (assume you take breaks while crossing the street?), this seems like it would be distracting to the point of cancelling out the pleasant aspects of either the reading or the walking. I mean, you might as well tell Sam to also dribble a basketball at the same time w/ his free hand (don't listen, Sam- Nick's clearly got it in for you). But I'm admittedly on the opposite side of the spectrum- for me, the ideal reading environment is lying in bed or sitting on a sofa/comfy chair w/ complete silence and nobody else around
