Music Babble

I haven't talked about Suttree much. Everyone who has read it easily remembers the kid having sex with the watermelons, deep within the winey loam. It's not much like Blood Meridian really, it's closer to a Tom Waits tune or something. It only has a couple of disaster moments in it, though they're big ones.

Head is worth one viewing, I s'pose. If you've seen any other psychedelic whacky movie you'll know what to expect, all that's really surprising is what a middle finger it seems to be to their 14 year old girl fanbase who probably wouldn't have understood it. How much of that is Jaaaack Nicholson, I wonder?
