I agree about Wings being fairly consistent, though actually on the whole I'd say I prefer them to solo Macca most of the time. I know they're barely even a real band, but there's at least the pretense of band dynamics most of the time, which mostly went away later.
One exception is McCartney II which I'm a big defender of.
Nod Your Head on Memory is a legitimately fierce rocker, quite impressive from aged softie Paul!
