You still live w/ your parents, right (think you said you'd been spending a lot of time at your girl's house but don't think you'd necessarily moved in together)? If so, how did you address that on dating apps? Maybe I'm worrying over nothing, but I'm pretty self-conscious about it. But then, people are admittedly more stuck up about that kinda stuff in SF than they probably are in your neck of the woods.
My experience w/ dating apps is very limited. After getting nowhere dating "the old fashioned way" (i.e. random girls I either met at parties or was set up by stupid male friends who chose the wrong people), I got on OKCupid when I moved back to SF and was surprised by how awkward the messaging was and how cautious the girls were (but when I starting hearing online dating horror stories from female friends, it started making sense). The girl who became my gf set herself apart by being more aggressive and suggesting we actually talk on the phone before meeting, which was a great idea. And she was the only person I actual went out with- turned into a 3-year relationship (I'll let you draw your own conclusions)
