I only really care about the debut
which actually sounds like a real group with a unified (yet eclectic sound), whereas the next 2 are pretty good but definitely sound like Damon indulging himself with a bevy of guests. I also wouldn't call the debut a great album or even something I feel like listening to very often. But I think it's pretty solid all the way through.
Related - Only yesterday I listened to my first Blur album, "Parklife" (seems to be the most popular) and was surprised by how lame it was. The songs seemed to alternate between dull and corny. Really don't get the appeal. But then, Britpop was never my thing.
