Culp's Hill Restoration

I thought an update might be in order, for all the Georgians of the 28th: this spring the National Park Service sponsored volunteers to clean out much of the underbrush on parts the eastern and southern slopes of Culp's Hill. They did good work. You and now walk uphill on a couple of trails from East Confederate Avenue to the monument of the 123rd NY. After years of being locked in the woods, you can now actually walk down and see the "advanced pickets stone" of the 123rd and discern the still visible entrenchments near the monuments. Clio has not abandoned us yet! [Stephen C. Law, descendant of Orville Clark Robinson, Co. F].
