Player Adoption
* Post the character(s) you're wishing to adopt out, along with any important details (such as personality, relationships, important events they've been in, or anything notable you think is needed). You are welcome to establish guidelines for playing these characters.
* Prospective new owners can then request to adopt them, and once the previous owner confirms the adoption, the new player will officially have control of the character(s). Congrats! Please let me know on the Update board when this happens.
* Character appearances, names, and histories cannot be retconned.
NPC Adoption/Retiring
* If you'd like your character to be in the game but no longer have the muse to play them and don't want to adopt them out, you can list them here as an NPC character.
* NPC canines & felines will become loners and won't be available to join packs/prides, but may respond to breeding requests.
* NPC mares can occasionally be found and convinced to join herds, but will not be actively played. They can be bred, and will respond to Events that may happen in their given territory. NPC stallions may respond to breeding requests.
* Players are welcome to establish guidelines for their characters before turning them into NPCs (such as no breeding, or having mares remain herdless, ect).
* NPCs can be taken back by their previous player at any time, or officially adopted by another player if the original player agrees.
* NPCs will age in real-time, just like normal characters. Once they reach 'old age', they have a small chance each month of dying of natural causes, with the chance increasing as they age further.
* NPCs cannot engage in fighting or battles.
