Time for the nation to move on and improve race relations instead of aways delving into the wrongs of the past.

Drop the hyphenated dual ethnicity, like African-Americans, Italian-Americans, Japanese-Americans, and go with just "Americans". They don't single out ethnicity in other countries like France. All citizens of France are French, not African-French or Chinese-French.

Let's start with the premise that we who are citizens are all Americans, and go from there.
