Roughly 30 TRILLION DOLLARS has been spent since 1964 on Johnson's "War on Poverty".

That's a joke for a couple of reasons that I can think of right off the bat.

1. Libs constantly puke up the Democrat Talking Point that "We'll spend XXX amount
of money on YYY thing, but we won't spend anything to help the poor!" 40 TRILLION
DOLLARS isn't anything to them.

2. 40 TRILLION DOLLARS spent:

- The percentage of Americans living under the poverty line in 1973, 10 years into the "War"?

11.1%

- The percentage of Americans living under the poverty line in 2023, half a CENTURY later?

11.1%
