A Reporter was literally standing in the flood wreckage and asked a Pastor what he had to say to the people who had been impacted, some of whom were still looking for their children.

I obviously don't have the EXACT words that he said, but it was something along the lines of God having a plan for everyone, and that he in his infinite mercy would someday reunite the families and friends and blah blah blah.

How do people reconcile their beliefs in a God who COULD do something by doesn't?

It seemed so cold-hearted what with them standing right there in the wreckage.
