Tesla started their network of superchargers over 10 years ago. GM and Ford still don't understand the importance of recharging EV's. They sell the EV's to stupid customers who have no easy way to recharge their cars.
GM made their first EV a boring little economy car. Tesla made their first EV a fun sports car. Now all Teslas are fast and fun to drive.
GM cancelled their first EV because it did not need as much maintenance, and their greedy dealerships would NOT be able to profit from expensive service.
Electric vehicles are simpler and require much less maintenance than gas cars.
Some governments want to make EV's mandatory. That's bad. We need more freedom.
My state gave me about $10,000 in rebates for buying an EV. That was good for me, but bad for all the taxpayers who still have gas cars.
I agree Hybrids are even more complex than gas cars. Too much stuff that can go wrong.
