This is my first post since I replied to your "time out" post, in which I said I may or may not be back. This reply aside, I find myself coming down on the side of "nope." Non-registration political boards always descend into what we see here...and what we see here is of no interest to me.

And for the record, I couldn't care less which side of the American* political divide may or may not be at fault for that. Not to put too fine a point on it, both sides seem to be full of poorly-socialized toddlers (despite most being old geezers)...and their constant acting out makes the board unusable. It does no good to try and ignore them, when their tantrums constitute the significant majority of board content. Trying to offset that effluence with civil, substantive posts is a hopeless task.

I'll check in from time to time (because I'm morbidly entertained by dysfunction) and please know that I appreciate those who fight the good - if hopeless - fight.

*A curious situation, give how right-skewed the American socio-political spectrum is compared to the rest of the industrialized world, but that's a subject for another discussion (in another venue).
