Shouldn’t value be decided by thousands of other people making free and voluntary decisions about what goods and services are worth? You claim to be a fan of democracy. Think of it as an economic democracy where we all get to vote on the value of goods and services we consume.

And if those goods and services are valuable enough that they produce profit which is used to employ people who can then better their lives, what is wrong with that?

Why should you be ordained to decide what is “too great a share” or what is “grotesque” or “greedy”. You get one “vote” just like the rest of us.

Oh, and by the way, there are many employee owned companies in America. In a free market, you can choose how to distribute profits among shareholders and employees. You don’t need an authoritarian socialist system to do that. It is just one of the economic freedoms afforded under the vastly superior capitalist system.
