I was just curious, so I did some experiments.

Every post on every boardhost board has a number at the end. That number is increased by one whenever someone posts on any board.

I looked at two example posts that were posted about 24 hours apart. I did the subtraction and got 86,284.

So it looks boardhost has a total of about 86,000 posts per day on their system.

For comparison, when I first started Religion and Ethics, there were about 2,000 posts per day on just that board.
