two things have always stood out.

First, the discrepancy in the reports regarding the status of the two surviving roommates.

Second, the 8 hours lapse of time before 911 was called.

Not suggesting the roommates have anything to do with it. Just seems strange that one of the survivors/roommates would have eye contact with the killer as he is preparing to depart the home and said survivor was left to be a witness. Or were the survivors really still asleep and the 'witness' story was a police suggestion as they were trying to flesh out the killer. Don't know.

Hard to say if we will ever know.
