Their are only two motives that persuade people to post on Political Message Boards.

1. To force their political views on other posters while creating chaos.Those who don't agree with their political views are met with sarcasm and insults.

2. To discuss politics intelligently with an open mind.

The latter group comprises only a small percentage of the whole. it is estimated that only 2 percent of posters come from group #2. I am inclined to believe it is not in error by more than one percentage point at most.
