I was not opposed to Russia seizing Crimea. The radical Ukrainians were creating problems for the ethnic Russians. Ukraine is living in a dream world if it thinks it can be independent of Russian hedgemon. So too is Western Europe. They never learn past lessons. It’s Russia’s last buffer against the NATO eastward slither. Ukraine is most certainly not worth WW3.
