The K-Falls area is beautiful.
When I am in Southern Oregon, where I was living for a while a good few years ago, I only occasionally get that far east, and it's almost always to go fishing. Klamath Falls itself is a nice looking town (small city? It's about 25k, iirc), although as a place to live, it's not rich in amenities and options and is the biggest place in that south-central/southeast part of Oregon. The climate is mild, although the winters are on the cold side (but pretty dry), and midsummer highs can spike rather high. 50% humidity? It's only occasionally that low in Japan! Heh... I can't say I'm a huge fan of Gabbard, but she's certainly qualified and I respect her service.
