August 23rd is the Black Moon

why is it a black moon??? Mostly I have no idea but it has something to do with the number of times there has been a new moon this year?

What does it signify? Again...shrug. Well, except, rumor has it that one should be able to see the complete milky way in the absence of the moonlight. Should make star gazers happy. So there is that.
