Being a Conservative, I certainly meet and KNOW a lot of Christians.
The reaction of some of them to Charlie Kirk's murder is just...I have no words.
Had I been old enough to be aware when Martin Luther King, Jr was assassinated, I would have said "That is a tragedy. My thoughts are with his family."
Period.
End of statement.
No "but"s.
If I cared enough about the politics of the time, I might have LATER said that I had issues with his lack or moral character.
But not ON THE DAY HE WAS MURDERED!
But not THESE Christians, today. They had NO PROBLEM, on the DAY he was murdered, with saying "This was a tragedy, but..." and then listing the things that they disagreed with him on.
It obviously means NOTHING that this kind of person claims to be "Christian". The word has become meaningless.
