Do you pay the actual cost of a million dollar operation?

Someone and everyone is paying into a pool of money that does not come close to what the federal government shells out for Medicare coverage. I’m paying the highest premium. Three times what I remitted last year. I accept the increase. It’s fair. And does not even come close to the ‘0’ bills I never am billed to pay. And my prescription pills are virtually cost free.
