I want us to do more to help the poor, but Socialism is not a good way to help the poor. I think Socialism will just increase the poverty for everyone.

I think we should keep capitalism, but raise taxes on the rich and raise taxes on some luxury items. The money should go to helping the poor with better health care and better educations that will help them get better jobs.

Maybe the experiment in New York will fail. Maybe people will see it was a bad idea. Then maybe they will flip flop to some stupid extremist republican plan with different flaws.

The government should not buy shares in Intel or Tesla or any other company.

I'm undecided on tariffs. We should be honest and admit they make things more expensive, just like taxes do.
