I know truck drivers that went to Canada every week for years; the Canadians would practically beg them to bring things from the U.S. because American products were taxed so high they often couldn't afford to buy American products.

What are your thoughts on this?

Is a tax a tariff OR is a tariff a tax?

Is, or rather has, that tax been fair to Americans?

Was Canada protecting its own interest?

Has Canada or any other country that has taxed us in the past treated Americans fairly?

SHOULD WE JUST KEEP TURNING A BLIND EYE AND ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE? EVEN IF IT CAUSES OUR COUNTRY TO FALL.

Is it ok for our congressman and senators to cater to other countries' lobbyists to fill their own pockets?

I am for fair trade, but not when it hurts Americans.
