It HAS given people bad, and sometimes dangerous information
It makes people lazy. There are ads everywhere encouraging students to use it with specialized programs so professors can't recognize AI (thankfully more professors are requiring in class writing and oral exams)
Yes, it has great potential for good, but when used improperly, like any tool, it can be VERY bad
