There's something god-like in having children. If you are lucky to live long enough to have kids, G-kids and GG-kids, you begin to realize that you created some-things that are uniquely a product of you. They would not exist without you. And, they will continue spreading your creation.

Caucasians would be far better off if we had minded our own business, orientals were still making Ming-Dynasty vases, mid-easterners were still riding camels and living in tents, and Africans and South Americans still chasing wildlife in jungles with spears. They were all happy and healthy doing that. But, no. We had to be "Mr Big" and "improve" their lives. Now that we have "befriended" them and made them like us, everyone hates everyone else. The law of unintended consequences at work. No "good deed" goes unpunished.
