All the Democrats want is a 90 day waiting period to allow for a complete background check. The Republicans and the NRA are opposed. Why?
As an example in ref to the Parkland shooting in Florida where 17 students lost their lives, the shooter Nikolas Cruz would have been disqualified to purchase the semi-automatic rifle he bought and used to kill the 17 students and injuring an additional 18.
A 90 day waiting period with a complete background check would have revealed Cruz was under psychiatric care and had been hospitalized to a psycho ward.
