...and how much is about Elon Musk causing massive harm to his brand over the last year. The once seemingly inevitable march to domination by EVs has clearly slowed internationally, but adoption rates remain pretty high in a couple big markets: Europe (particularly Northern Europe) and China. In Japan, hybrids remain much, much more popular than full EVs. Chinese automakers are flat-out destroying other makers (US and European, largely, although there are Japanese options, too) in terms of what you get for your money in the EV market. =/
