The once seemingly inevitable march to domination by EVs has clearly slowed internationally, but adoption rates remain pretty high in a couple big markets: Europe (particularly Northern Europe) and China. In Japan, hybrids remain much, much more popular than full EVs.

Chinese automakers are flat-out destroying other makers (US and European, largely, although there are Japanese options, too) in terms of what you get for your money in the EV market. =/
