A 2019 Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) report confirmed that fraud existed in the Child Care Assistance Program and that the state lacked sufficient systems to detect it. Between 2020 and 2025, investigators recovered roughly $2.4 million and stopped payments to 79 providers.
Feeding Our Future defrauded a child nutrition program of over $250 million, leading to more than 70 indictments and 57 convictions by the end of 2025.
I have no idea what “influencer” you are referring to, but it is clear that fraud exists and should be investigated.
