The level of "rioting" seen at these protests doesn't remotely justify sending regular military assets (requiring invoking the Insurrection Act to be legal). Maybe the National Guard, but even that's a stretch. There's more violence at a Super Bowl victory celebration.
This isn't about security. It's about suppressing dissent.
