Why have laws if they aren’t enforced?

Immigration laws are being rightly enforced all over the nation.
About 25% of ICE arrests are in Texas. About 2% are in Minnesota.
But in Minnesota, elected officials are characterizing federal law enforcement as “Gestapo”, urging citizens to disrupt the arrest of hardened criminals, and preventing state and local officials from assisting with legitimate efforts to get criminals out of their neighborhoods.
It is a wonder Walz and Frey haven’t gotten more people killed with their inciteful rhetoric.
