Under Barack Obama, nearly 2 million illegal immigrants were deported using the same immigration laws on the books today.
Most removals were expedited or voluntary returns, which do not require a court hearing under U.S. law. That was due process.
Those laws come from Congress, not the President.
So ask yourself:
Why didn’t Democratic cities “rebel” then?
Because Obama enforced the law, with friendly media framing and no public confrontation.
When Donald Trump enforced the same laws, suddenly witha hostile media it was called “authoritarian.”
Nothing legal changed.
Only the politics did!!!
You can’t call enforcement “humane” like Obama did and “tyranny” under another when the law and due process are identical.
That’s not a legal argument.
That’s selective outrage.
Under Trump:
Immigration became the central political battleground.
Resistance became a symbolic protest.
Blue cities used defiance to energize their base!
